The bikes can be unlocked from one location and locked in convenient locations in the service area, making bike share ideal for short, one-way trips. Bike share is ideal for short, one-way trips – getting from Point A to Point B. Bike rental shops are best suited for longer trip durations, biking outside of our service area, and for different equipment options (like tandem bikes and kids bikes)

Yes! Bike share can still add convenience to your life even if you have your own bike. It is especially useful for one-way trips when you don’t want to worry about taking your own bike both ways, if you want to avoid the hassle of locking your bike up, or to avoid bike theft. Using bike share can also prolong the life of your own bike as you spare it unnecessary wear and tear from regular riding.
