How do I sign up?
To sign up for HOPR, simply download the free HOPR Transit App, available on iPhone and Android. Once you have downloaded the HOPR app, either select HOPR Pass or Wallet in the menu of the app to choose your desired pass or plan. Once you have an active plan use the map, screen to find a bike available near you.
How old do I have to be to sign up for HOPR?
To have a HOPR account, you need to be old enough to have a valid credit card. However, some HOPR cities allow an account holder to unlock multiple bikes for others who may not have a valid credit card. Check your local system for details.
Does the app cost money?
No, the HOPR Transit App is completely free to download for Apple. (Android coming soon). Once you are in the app, you can select which forms of transit you would like to sign up for.
How much does it cost to join?
HOPR has various Pass options in each city. Navigate to the home page and select your city for Pass details.

Yes, you need to have the HOPR Transit App to use HOPR bikes. The HOPR Transit App is where you will add your payment information and select your pass. You will also need the app to scan the QR code to unlock the bike.
Do I automatically have a bike share membership when I sign up for the HOPR app?
No, you will not automatically have a bike share membership when you sign up for the HOPR Transit App. Once you have downloaded the free HOPR Transit App, you can sign up for a membership in the menu option under HOPR Pass. – Download, sign up, choose your pass or pay per trip.
I signed up for HOPR, but I don’t see my city's bike share program under the bike option. What’s happening?
If you don’t see your city’s bike share program in the HOPR Transit App, this may be because you have not set your location. To set your location:
* Navigate to the left-hand menu
* Select “”Settings””.
* You will see a drop-down menu of locations.
* Select one of the locations from the drop-down menu.
* Return to the map screen.
You should now see the HOPR Bike icons in the map screen within the HOPR Transit App.
